Step-by-step guide for the Ongoing Design Contest

1. Download the template
Have a design idea to die for? Want to see it on people? It all starts with a few people wearing your designs and who knows; soon you may become a household name. Here's the first step of this exciting process. Download our template on your computer and start being creative!
2. Fill the template with your design
Creativity is the key! Simple or elaborate, minimal or detailed, neutral or vivid; we know that sometimes the first idea you come up with is the best one but don't limit yourself with those initial ideas and give a bit more thought to your designs before you start working on them.
3. Submit your designed template
Happy with the result? Upload your design and fill out the form. Your design will join the line for approval and take its place among other designs competing to become the next itself product.
4. Now it's up to the community
Once your design is approved it will take its place among other designs to be voted over a period of 60 days. However as this is an ongoing contest there will be no periodic announcement of winners. This means that depending on the amount of hype your design creates within the Community (in terms of comments and scores) it might be chosen for printing anytime within this 60 day period.
5. And the winner is
If your design hits the jackpot and becomes the next fabulous itself item, it will be printed at a limited amount of 3000 and you will receive $1750 in cash and $250 in itself-coins. The printed designs will be available within the Limited Designer Collection. If it becomes a hit and the demand gets unstoppable, there will be one more reprint of 3000 items from which you will receive a further $1750 in cash and $250 in itself-coins. But we know that money is not everything for you and that you love success and fame as well. That's why we will have your name printed on each item your design appears on.
Not approved?
Bear in mind that your design may not necessarily be approved due to duplication of your own design with minor alterations, use of copyrighted material, plagiarism, technical impossibilities for printing and a general lack of conceptual compatibility with itself. There are also some technical design issues you have to take into consideration. For the technical guidelines click here. If your design isn't approved don't lose hope. Try again and make sure all ethical and technical requirements are fulfilled.
