Favourite designs so far?

With 176 designs currently running in the contest i guess it will be quite hard for itself people to decide on the designs that'll be printed.

Although one might figure out which designs are standing out by checking the scores and comments but i felt like it would be a good idea to have a blog about it where people can discuss which designs are their favourites and deserve to cross the finish line.

For starters, my personal favourites are Refable Pndora's Box (by Draco) and Story Time (by Richter). What do you people think??

Good news for Björk fans and vinyl lovers!

I just read on pitchfork [ www.pitchforkmedia.com ] that One Little Indian records is using newest technology in vinyl manufacturing called Half Speed Direct Metal Mastering to enhance the sound quality which will result in better detail resolution and a lower noise ratio.

And the actual good news is that the record company will be releasing Björk and Sugarcubes' back catalogue on DMM vinyl, remastered from original master tapes.
All tese copies will be limited edition, hand numbered records, including one of Björk's earliest solo projects, the Icelandic jazzy Glin-Glo.

Sounds great!

Ladytron is back

Ladytron, the greatest electro-pop band around is back with a new album called Velocifero and I love it! Velocifero is the name of a classic retro-style scooter but it also means “bringer of speed.” Band members are from Sofia and Glasgow so it’s not surprising to see two songs sung entirely in Bulgarian :)

Ladytron is also interesting to watch live on stage as their stage persona is quite stylish, inspired by black monochrome soldier uniforms, representing simplicity which can also be said of their musical style.

I really love Velocifero and its first single Ghosts. You guys should check it out too: http://www.myspace.com/ladytron
